ERCES
01
Coverage Evaluation & Signal Testing
ERCES projects begin with an evaluation of in-building radio signal coverage using approved testing tools to identify areas where communication support is required. This testing helps establish baseline performance and informs system design requirements.
02
System Design & Equipment Selection
Based on testing results and applicable code requirements, an ERCES solution is engineered to improve in-building radio coverage. System components are selected to align with building construction, layout, and emergency communication needs, including the use of code-compliant amplification and distribution equipment.
03
Installation & Verification
The ERCES system is installed using listed equipment designed for emergency responder communication. After installation, coverage is verified through additional testing to confirm the system performs as required throughout the building.
04
Documentation, Acceptance, & Ongoing Support
Final documentation is provided to support AHJ review and system acceptance. Ongoing service and maintenance help ensure continued performance, testing readiness, and long-term compliance.
